The market for Alamo homes remains directionless…… The sub-prime market has effected all types of home loans. Underwriting criteria and cost have quickly changed. Appraisal standards have quickly altered….. Lenders are doing everything possible to open the secondary markets… Without liquidity, lenders don’t have cash to make loans…. This is very interesting… I have seen this several times, hopefully this time, the Feds will step in quickly and provide the liquidity.
